CONCEPTS DEVELOPED BY
THE GENERAL PUBLIC
As part of the Public Alternatives Meeting,
attendees were invited to take a hand in developing potential
Participants were provided with roadway "building
blocks" consisting of travel lanes, bike lanes, sidewalks,
stormwater management and other infrastructure elements and
asked to assemble their desired concept. The width of each
element (or block) was indicated and used to determine the
overall width of the proposed concept. The total width of the
concept could then be compared to the existing roadway as
shown on accompanying aerial maps.
